Meditative Multiples and Luscious Layering

This ceramics workshop,  guided by Sasha Koozel Reibstein, is designed to introduce participants to layering multiples as a way to build form and surface. On Day One, there will be a handbuilding demonstration and students will use observation and exploration to develop rich and visually complex sculptures and/or vessels. On Day 2 of the workshop students will learn about making and using colored porcelain as well as traditional glazing processes. On Day 3 participants will enjoy the big reveal as their works are unloaded from the glaze firing and will discuss the results over coffee and pastries.
